A little tribute to the way coffee grows naturally. Shade-grown coffee refers to coffee cultivated beneath the canopy of trees, where coffee plants grow alongside other vegetation rather than in open, sun-exposed fields. This traditional way of growing coffee can help support biodiversity, protect soil health and create a more balanced ecosystem. It refers to a more sustainable way of coffee farming, which we try to reflect on when choose the coffees we buy.
